Ministries

At The Father’s Heart Ministry, our goal is to bring the love of Christ to those in need, right where they live. As such, by God’s grace, we have expanded and are able to serve in a number of locations throughout the Monroe County area.

The Mobile Soup Kitchen

The mobile soup kitchen hits the inner City of Rochester every Thursday and Friday night, and Saturday during the day providing a hot meal, groceries, clothing, Bible literature, prayer, and most importantly the life changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

The Father’s Heart feeds approximately 300-600 people weekly. We are grateful to God for providing our ministry with an influx of volunteers, eager to show the love and compassion of Christ, to the hurting and needy, on the streets of the Rochester area, and greater Monroe County.

Check the calendar to see where the Mobile Soup bus will be on any given ministry day.

Pinnacle Place

Pinnacle Place Apartments, located at 919 Clinton Avenue South in the city of Rochester, has a total of 406 units, 163 of which are Section 8 assisted living units. The Father’s Heart goes there every 4th Thursday of each month ministering to the tenants with the life-saving message of our Savior Jesus Christ followed by the giving of free groceries and a hot meal.

If you would like to cook a meal for 30 to 40 people or serve in other ways at the Pinnacle Place Apartments outreach, please contact leaders Frank and Diane Rivaldo at frivaldo@outlook.com.

Pines of Perinton

The Pines Of Perinton has 506 total units within the property of which 117 are project-based Section 8 units. It is located at 1 White Pine Circle in the Village of Fairport. The Father’s Heart goes there every 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Scott and Robin Wilson, who lead this ministry, along with other volunteers, minister to the tenants by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ followed by the giving of free groceries and a hot breakfast or lunch.

East Rochester (Northside Park) Spring through Fall

The Northside Park ministry, located on Magnolia Avenue in the Village of East Rochester, serves hot dogs and hamburger plates to those that frequent the park. Each evening begins around 5:45 p.m. where the Gospel is always spoken, praise songs are sometimes sung, and befriending those that are hurting and in need of prayer is always a high priority and part of the nightly agenda.

If you would like to participate in the Northside Park outreach, please contact leaders Frank and Diane Rivaldo at frivaldo@outlook.com.

Koinonia Fellowship Community Dinner (Winter Months)

When Northside Park becomes unattended due to adverse weather conditions in the winter months, the Father’s Heart moves the ministry indoors at Koinonia Fellowship located at 500 Main Street in East Rochester. There people can come in from the cold, be served a hot meal, sit down at a table with their family or friends and hear the truth of the Gospel either through a Biblical message or as part of a personal testimony to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you would like to participate in the Northside Park outreach, please contact leaders Frank and Diane Rivaldo at frivaldo@outlook.com.

Check the calendar to see when the indoor ministry begins as the winter months approach each year.
